Tax-Free Weekend Coming Up
It's hard to believe that another school year is just around the corner. In order to help you prepare, the Virginia General Assembly has set aside Friday - Sunday, August 7-9, 2015 as a sales tax-free weekend for the purpose of school supplies and school related clothing. Below is a brief description as well as a detailed list of items eligible for the benefit. Take advantage of this weekend to help you save some of your hard-earned cash!
Summer Hours/Restricted Access
Summer Office Hours
Beginning Monday, 15 June 2015 and running through 28 August 2015 AGW will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm. The building will not be open for any reason on Fridays at all during the summer.
Restricted Access to AGW
Due to the current HVAC renovations going on over the summer, the Front Office and Counseling staff has relocated to the Southwick Library at AGW. You will need to enter the building using the Library doors as the Main Entrance will be secured for safety reasons. You may wish to call ahead prior to driving up to school. The renovations are currently slated to run through Friday, 14 August 2015.
Classroom Supplies 2015-16
Although the school year just ended, retailers will soon start up with their Back to School sales. In order to allow you to take advantage of the deals, we have posted grade-level generic supply lists that should let you get the basic for any grade. Teacher-specific lists will be posted closer to our Open House in mid-August 2015. Please check back for any changes.

Have a Great Summer!
Well, another year is in the books. Thank you, Tigers, for another great year. We'll see you all back here in September!
Andrew G. Wright
Have you ever wondered who our school was named after? Please read this newly penned biography of Andrew G. Wright.
A special thanks to Jane Conner, local Stafford County historian, and Elizabeth Wright, one of Andrew's daughters for their incredible assistance in piecing this biography together.
Curt Southwick, for whom our library is named, was one of our beloved teachers who was taken from us way too early. Mrs. Southwick helped me put together this biography of him so that all of our students can know what a great guy he was.
