Math Night Parents' Survey

   Please remember that next week is a short school week.  School will meet on Monday, 23 November and Tuesday, 24 November 2009.  Both of these days will be whole, complete days.  There are NO early-outs next week.  Thank you.

   A. G. Wright's Student Council Association (SCA) is in need of chaperones for the March 5th, 2010 dances. Parent/Guardian chaperones are not limited to SCA membership. We appreciate all volunteers! Please contact Mrs. Stillson or Ms. Filemu on the SCA Fusion page.  Thank you for your support.

6th Grade Study Buddy Award - Parent Nominees Needed!

   Attention 6th grade parents! If your child is part of the study buddy program, you may want to nominate them for "Study Buddy of the Month." This honor goes to a study buddy group that have done an awesome job of helping each other out by studying and doing homework/projects together. To nominate, please send an email to falkbw@staffordschools.net with an explanation about why you think your child deserves this award. All nominees need to be sent by Monday, November 23. A winner will be randomly selected from the nominees and will receive a pizza and ice cream party for them and six of their friends! If your child is not part of the program, but you would like more information, please contact Mrs. Falk at the above email.

Coming soon to the school library near you...
   The annual fall book fair at the AGW library is coming.  It will begin on Monday, 30 November and run throughout the week until Friday, 4 December.  It will be in operation daily during school hours and Friday night from 6pm - 8pm during the presentation of AGW's Got Talent!.  We look forward to seeing you.

Career Exploration Night
     Coming Thursday, Nov 19 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at Brooke Point High School, Commons and Auditorium.  This is for all students in grades 7 - 10. Pre-registration required, available online at http://tiny.cc/CareerNight. Registration forms are also available in each middle and high school counseling office.
